Most software for small businesses assumes you have a spare hour. A dashboard to check, a pipeline to groom, a workflow to configure. You do not have a spare hour. That is the whole problem.

The standing rule
The honest objection to an AI with access to your inbox is what stops it doing something stupid. So the boundary is not a setting, and it is not a maturity level you graduate out of. It is how the product works:
Three consequences worth being specific about, because “human in the loop” has been said by enough products to mean nothing:
- It never sends for you. It writes in your voice and hands it over. You press send. Every time.
- It never spends or signs. It will find you a price and get the paperwork ready. It cannot pay and it cannot agree.
- It only reads what you give it. Nothing else, and nothing kept. Unhook any account whenever you want.

What arrives every morning
A short ranked update of what moved in the last 24 hours and what needs you — by email, and by WhatsApp if you want it. You can reply to it in that same channel: approve 2, what’s the story with Maria?, hand off the fundraiser. It acts on it or answers, right there.
That last part matters more than it sounds. The daily briefing is not a notification you open an app to action. If you’re on a job site, you should be able to text back “yes, send it” and have that be the end of it.
